Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York

Purchaser's Protection

One of our supplier of inventory goods located Manhattan-NY (Chinese Importer)refuses to honor returning merchandise due to our experience for more than 20% returns from our customers as merchandise defects. This supplier DOES-NOT have written policies regarding returns however they have implied their return-policies from honoring similar like retuns previously whereby have estanblished precedance. My wish is to settle this matter with a final notice preceeding legal remedies. I need to know how many days to allow this supplier to respond prior to a decision to file a lawsuit.

Give them as many days as you want. That does not mean you have a claim, which could depend on factors beyond return policies.
