Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York

Is it true when you speak or visit with an Attorney, whether or not they take your case, the information in your conversations are completely confidential?

Therefore they cannot take that information and file a lawsuit against the Company in the conversation, on their own or with another person? in any way shape or form?
