1-Can you get a lien on a house if you do not have a note?

2-Can you garnish a salary for a debt/loan?

1. You may file a lien on a house with a mortgage, judgment or mechanic's lien.

2. You may enforce a judgment through an income execution - however, there are restrictions that are set forth under NY Statute.
