Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Can 2 judgments be entered against a debtor at same time?

A few months ago my husband received a Notice of Garnishment letter from the City of NY marshal's office. Instead of getting his wages garnished he made payment arrangements to the marshal's office which he is now paying. Now today he received yet another Notice of Garnishment letter from a different NYC Marshal for a different debt he owes. My question is, can 2 separate judgments be entered against my husband at the same time if he is already paying a judgment already? Thank you in advance for any and all replies.
