Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

I just cancelled my wedding. I gave the hall $15 000. They told me if I don't give them another $10 000. They will sue me for the whole 45000 50 000. Can they? Or should I give the $10 000?

What terms did you agree to in the contract?

Is there a cancellation clause? If so, did you comply with the terms of the provisions?

If you are concerned, you should take the contract to an experienced attorney to review.

This type of review should cause a few hundred dollars, which is a lot cheaper than than the $10,000 the call wants to take from you.
