Career Visions scam

I attended an IT school known a ''Career Visions'' once located at 12 west 23rd st. in NY, NY. Upon entering, a loan was made of $8,000, half of which to be paid by the school upon completion. The loan's billing cycle did not begin until a year after i finished my education, which is when I discovered the business had gone bankrupt and no longer exists. Today, I am responsible for the full amount plus interest and am unable to afford this. I want to fight this injustice in court, do i have a case?

If you can find where career visions went to and you have a written agreement with them. Your loan probably makes you completely responsible for the debt however.
