Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Harassment by Verizon Wireless

I would like to know if there is any action I can take against Verizon to terminate their harassment.

They used unethical billing practices to which I caught them! When I approached them with my legitimate complaint, they began a program of interupting my service and harassing me ruthlessly even though my account was paid in full.

I filed a complaint with the FCC to which Verizon was found guilty of my accusations against them and ordered by the FCC to make restitution of overcharges and to decease the harassment practices.

At that time, I chose to terminate my contract with Verizon and informed both Verizon and the FCC of my intent.

To date, Verizon has made numerous request for fees and charges not due and owing and harasses me on a regular bases with credit collectors.

I have contacted Verizon numerous times and the credit collectors but the practice continues andf Verizon moves from credit collector to credit collector!

I'm sick of being harassed because I excercised my legal rights when I discovered Verizon using unethical billing practices!

Re: Harassment by Verizon Wireless

You might consider filing a suit against Verizon if you have a valid claim. See an attorney for that.
