Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Im being sued for credit card debt. I own half a house and my only income is social security disability income thats direct deposit.If they get a judgement in court can they put a lien on my half of the house and can they freeze or take money from my bank account.Right now I can not afford an attorney

A. Yes, although they may not be able to enforce the lien.

Q. and can they freeze or take money from my bank account

A. Since your only income is SSI, the answer is no.
