Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Sued

I recieved a letter on the door with tape can a credit card company sue me. I went bankrupt 1984.It dont look like a real form but it has my court in the district area address on it.What should i do

If the document says "summons", you must go to the Court that is addressed on the document and speak to the clerk. Tell the clerk that you want to file an answer and the clerk will provide you with the necessary document and instructions.
