survvingSpouse's responsibility of debt in NY STATE
My husband died sudden in 2007, he had no estate, and i am now trying to refianace my home,. I learned thatere is a lien that he signed that is keeping me from getting the loan. Am i resposibibe for tht loan now that is gone,

When he died he created an estate. The estate would be responsible for the debt. You would not be able to refinance the house until the lien is removed.
