Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

2nd petit larceny charge in NY

Firstly thank you all for your time and feedback. My daughter was arrested of petit larceny in August 2008, she was charged with a violation (disorderly conduct) and completed one day of community service. Recently she was arrested for the second time, what charges and punishment can we expect from the courts? Thank you once again and I would greatly appreciate any responses.

Without knowing the specifics it is difficult to predict or advise. My best guess is that she will have a crim9inal conviction on her record as well as a sentance of either probation, jail or a combination of both. I would be happy to set up a consultation to discuss the specifics. Contact my office @7188340087.

It is difficult to say exactly, however, she will have a much greater chance of a better out come and having charges reduced if she retains the services of an experienced attorney that can defend her and preserve her rights in court. We have substantial experience handling these types of cases, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination. Generally on such a charge the original violation is given readily.

On a second charge the case is treated much more seriously and could

Result in a criminal record, probation or even jail.

I would suggest hiring a defense attorney asap to ensure her best

Protection. You may reach us during regular business hours at
