Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I have a 16yr old transgender son. He's currently living in a facility for troubled youths.. Yesterday I received a phone call that He'd admitted to being sexually molested for over a year by another 20 year old client..When he first got there I informed them that he was transgender and they assured me they had just taken a class prior to him coming to learn how to deal with him.. they did not provide a adequate protection for my son and I am told that the night staff is asleep at night with the door close..My question can I sue the institution??
