Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I have a charge that was sealed in 1996. I need the actual charges to be on a Certificate of Disposition in order to receive my gun permit for employment. What is the process to get this done?

Go to the court in which the matter was eventually disposed and pay a fee (5 dollars, I believe). Bring id. Helpful if you have docket number but not necessary.
