Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Class D felony on probation

While on a misdemeanor 2nd degree assault probation if someone commits a class d felony 2nd degree assault what is the result of this jail? how to get out of it without jail?We have a lawyer but any suggestions?

you should have an in depth converstaion with your attorney, and generally must realize that the violation of probation is generally treated more seriously than the crime which was committed, and is in and of itself treated as a felony...
