Court summons
I received a letter in the mail that states i am to appear in court in April but does not say anywhere what the charge is. Approx. 2 weeks prior, my boyfriend got arrested for domestic assault ( he is also a policer officer). I am confused as to why i received this letter addressed to me v. people of ny?? He may have filed a cross complaint...harrassment, second degree......so if i received a summons to appear already, are they also going to come and arrest me??? I am so scared!!!
