Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Criminal Appeal

I had an appeal in past November regarding a false statement, which was manufactured by the government because I refused to change my name during a citizenship interview. The court assigned me an attorney, and he went to represent on the appeal, before the appeal he told me that you have a very good case because the trial judge had criticized the prosecutor in your behalf, and after the oral argument of the appeal he told me you could lose,

The fact is I do not trust him and I asked him several times to send me the transcripts of the oral argument and he said he does not have it and you do not need it and there is no transcripts for the oral argument

Now my questions are

1) Is this true that there are no transcripts for oral argument?

2) Can I file a complaint about that and to ask the federal court to expedite the decision and send me the transcript?

3) I reside in California but that case happened in New York

So I can I file a complaint here in the federal court in Los Angeles?

4) how I can change that attorney because he do not want to relieve himself from representing me

Re: Criminal Appeal

You are in a very difficult position, which may forever jeopardize your ever gaining citizenship.

Their may not be a transcript of the appeal.

Even if you ask the federal appeals court for an expedited they act on their own timetable and the rule is that you never ask them to hurry up, because if it is a close call, they may use this to decide agains you,
