Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I had a family member falsely accuse me of something I did not do. Legal aid explained to me that I did not want this to go to trial and that it would be best to take the plea. I did so and gave the person accusing me an order of protection.. My question is if I can go get myself an order of protection because now I'm afraid of this person accusing me of something else?

The facts here are a little confusing. Are you saying this person has an order of protection against you? If so you should not be near that person by the instructions of the order. Since you won't be near them, it seems unlikley you would also need an order of protection against them, but these have been granted. Speak with your attorney about this.
