felony probation violation

i tested positive for thc and my question is how or what do i tell my lawyer to make sure i get a county year instead of going to state prison?

It is not what you tell your lawyer that gets you county time instead of state prison. It is the lawyers skill in crafting a defense to the to the felony probation violation. A good lawyer can attempt to rehabilitate you in the eyes of the probation department and the court to minimize your risk.
