Is it illegal to use a fake debit/credit card on Amazon?
Amazon requires users to have a valid debit/credit card on file before placing orders.
Since I do not have a credit/debit card, I used a credit/debit card generator to generate a fake credit/debit card number and information.
Which I then used to bypass the requirment for a valid credit/debit card and placed my order, I paid for the order with Amazon credit from prepaid gift cards.
Amazon then locked my account because the card issuer told them that the credit/debit card was invalid.
Keeping in mind that (as far as I know) the credit/debit card number and information is completely fake and does not belong to anyone, and that I payed for the order with Amazon credit from prepaid gift cards, is this illegal?

This may implicate countless NY and US identify theft laws. I would avoid doing this if I were you.
