Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

probation transfer

I have requested transfer to another state from New york, and just found out I was denied the transfer after months of struggling with the NY probation department to assist me. My wife and I are expecting a child and have no where else to go but to her family in Texas. I seem to be running out of options on how to do this the right way. I am on probation for a misdemeanor and have already completed 19months out of 36. The officers assisting me had given us such a bright outlook that all plans have been made to leave, and now all of a sudden they say i cannot. We have no where else to go. Is there any law that would require this transfer or any other options other than evading the law?

Re: probation transfer

You can bypass the probation department by petitioning the court directly for a 'termination of probation'.
