i put my home up for bail in a federal case.when will I get my deed back

You can request it back immediately but the defendant would have to replace it or get remanded, otherwise you have to wait until the case is over.

At the completion of the federal case, after all the defendant's attendance obligations with the court have been met, (i.e., he hasn�t skipped), you must request that the criminal lawyer representing the defendant or another lawyer representing you, prepare and file a "Satisfaction of Judgment" (or its equivalent) with the state county court where the property sits. That is so that the federal lien that has been placed on the house may be removed. The United States Attorney- the federal prosecutor- who prosecuted the matter or his designee must sign the satisfaction. We undertake this work sometimes, in our own federal criminal cases.
