Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I was recently accused of endangering the wellfare of a child. I was badgered by the detective to make a guilty claim in my statement in the precinct under pressure. I do not do well with being constantly yelled at. I had legal (verbal) consent by the child's mother to babysit him for a few hours. I do not know who it was but have heard that a nieghbor made the falsified alligation against me showing pornography to the boy. what can i legally do to turn things arround on both that nieghbor and the detective? also I found out the detective spoke with the boy without his parent/s present and took a statement. is it legal to do such things?

There is very little you can do other than fight the case in court and if you are found not guilty, sue the neighbor who gave false allegations.
