When requesting a felony hearing, how likely is it to be released based on a cpl 180.80 if the people are not ready to proceed? When should you waive your right to a felony hearing?

If the people are not ready to proceed, and can not show good cause, then the defendant must be released after being comitted to the custody of the sheriff for 144 hrs.
