statutory rape
My son who turned 17 in March was accused of statutory rape agaisnt a 13 year old girl. She told him she was 15. Can he be charged with anything? I don't know if they even did anything.

It is a common question and the answer is: any person over the age of 16 can be held criminally liable for his conduct.
If he did engage in a sexual act with even a 15 year old girl, then he is guilty of a crime.
