CPW2 is a C felony as you note, which means it is a serious charge. Additionally, it is classified as a "violent felony," which means you will face enhanced sentencing if convicted on this count.

Assuming no prior convictions, the sentence would be to a determinate term (a fixed number of years) between 3 1/2 years on the low end up to 15 years on the high end. Penal Law 70.02.1(b).

Of course that is to the top count. Your mileage may vary if you go to trial or plead out.
