Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Wil a Warrant be put out on me?

I went to court in Manhattan this morning for a Disordrely Person ticket.

At the time of the ticket my exgirlfriend I was homeless. We each got a ticket for the same thing. The alleged charge stated I was sleeping in a doorway.

I showed the woman at the window the ticket to find the right courtroom to go to and she said ''the case was Dismissed''

How can this be,since I saw no judge and court hadn't started yet?

Also the police asked for ID and I told them we was homeless.I gave them an old non-drivers id and they put that address on the ticket. The clerk said I receive a notice in the mail. How since my address was GPO Delivery?

Thank You Very Much

Probably not. Wait a couple of weeks, then go back to court to the clerk's office and ask for the notice of disposition. Even if you can't get mail, there has to be a record in the court file.
