Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

Adult industry legel protection

Is the practice of charging money for

dominatrix services legal in the state of

NY. These services specifically exclude

any actual sex. Is it a legal industry

such as stripping or is it illegal like

prostitution? Where is the line on this

issue, what determines wether or not it

is illegal?

Re: Adult industry legel protection

I have never heard of anyone either licensing

or regulating that particular practice in New York.

As long as it does not fall within the definition of prostitution, I would think it constitutes a constitutionally protected freedon of expression. It only becomes an issue if it is publicly advertised, since there is also a privacy issue.
