Same sex discrimination in housing

No statute other than the New York City Administrative Code governs gay housingdiscrimination. That section of the Codesets forth the law governing the creation andoperation of the New York City Commission on Human Rights. It provides for a complaint tothe CCHR or the use of the courts in a privatelawsuit. Naturally, as a litigation civil rights firm, we recommend the latter course, unless your life expectancy is very high. TheCommission, less aggressive than when it waschaired by its former head, Dennis De Leon, doesn't jump the way it used to. Can we spell"Giuliani Time?"
