Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

Discrimination (Sexual Orientation)

Looking to file large lawsuit against former employer (county government), for causing extreme financial, emotional and physical hardship resulting in termination. Have excellent records. For political reasons, I need an atttorney OUTSIDE my district.

1) How do I find a reputable and experienced attorney outside my area?

2)What specifics will the attorney need?

Re: Discrimination (Sexual Orientation)

Most bar associations have a lawyer referral agency. You can contact a bar association in another county and ask for a referral.

Re: Discrimination (Sexual Orientation)

You should go to the local bar association's referral service and ask them who is an expert in Employment Law. If you live in the New York Metro area, I will be happy to refer you to someone who I refer my sexual harassment and discrimination cases to.
