Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

What do I do.........

Hello,

On January 29th 2007 I was fired from my job because I asked a question and also because of the color of my skin. And I wanted to know who do I contact regarding this. Also my ex boss is going around our very little town saying that she fired me because she'sa a Racist. What do I do to protect myself from her? Please help me anyway that you can I am very hurt by all of this. I really don't deserve this.

There is a lot going on here. First of all if she fired you because she is a racist she may have violated the Executive Law of the State. You need to get to a lawyer right away, you are eating up a lot of the time in which you need to file a lawsuit.

If she is lying and saying you are a racist you also need to get to an attorney to file a Slander action against her. Your time is only one year. Get to an Attorney quickly. A lawyer can help protect you and make you whole again.
