Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

Race discrimination

I was speaking on the phone in work giving description

of person and said no the black one the taller of the

two who was suppose to be a policeman and he will get

away with not paying rent and gave a bounced check to court for non payment of rent. a co-worker past my desk and heard me say no the black one and starting yelling that is enough she is charging me being a racist will have a meeting 10/11 with managers and union wants to have me fired. HR said since it was a

private conversation she has no right this is since

august. I am afraid of losing my job. please help

what are my rights

I doubt seriously that you did anything wrong, but you should retain a lawyer to go with you to the hearing.
