Legal Question in DUI Law in New York

Ok so i got into a car accident a few days ago i was in the middle lane and switched over to the right lane and got side swiped from another car going from the middle to the right aswell both car had got damaged the state trooper came shortly after the acciendent when she was asking me questions she smelled alcohol so she asked me and i said i had 2 drinks 30 minutes before so she had me step out of the car and do a soberity test and i passed had me get back in my car came back and put me at fault gave a me a ticket for unsafe lane change days later i ordered the police report and it says nothing about the test just the details that me and the other driver described..so my question is being that the officer did not witness the accident should i plead not guilty for the accident or would the fact that she had to do the test go against me and end up loosing the case?

An unsafe lane change does have consequences ,2 points on your driving record. if you plead not guilty ,the officer will testify & who knows what she will say. therefore the trial result cannot be determined at this point. You have to evaluate the consequences of each action. If you decide to plead guilty ,then there will be no recorded testimony regarding alcohol on your breath. It is your decision to make. It is a good thing that the police report indicates nothing about alcohol.
