New York may pick up on your suspension in New Jersey but New York, unlike New Jersey, grants conditional licenses to go to work and

has programs which allow you to get you license back sooner than in New Jersey.

You will not be able to drive in New Jersey with a New York driver's license so long as your New Jersey

driving privileges are suspended by New Jersey.
