Legal Question in Elder Law in New York

Dissolve a Trust

I want a Testamentary Trust account to be dissolved. The Trustee doesn't live up to the terms of the will and I don't need anyone to make decisions for me.

The late-relative meant well, but really didn't know me from afar at all.

Re: Dissolve a Trust

If you are the Settlor (maker) of the Trust and the Trust is revocable, then you may be able to dissolve the Trust unless a beneficiary claims that you are not competant.

You may contact me to further discuss this matter at your convenience.
