Guardianship
How is application for Guardianship made? Social services doctors have determined my mother is not competant to make her medical decisions.

It starts in the probate court; your mother will have an Attorney appointed to represent her. You will probably want one someone to represent you in order to make sure you meet all of the technical requirements and move the case along expeditiously.
