Legal Question in Family Law in New York

is she accountable

if a woman buys a house with boyfriend, moves in with handicapped son of 28, leaves son while she moves in with new guy will she lose money if house is sold or be in trouble for leaving son?we can't figure out why she makes it a point to say she still lives there with son and is positively on the defensive.

Whether she lives there, leaves an adult son there or doesn't live there, her name is on the deed. She owns half of the house. None of the rest matters.
