Alimony

I want to leave my husband for various reasons. How long will it take for me to get alimony or temporary alimony? I do not have the funds to live on my own

Your attorney will know how to file a petition seeking temporary alimony - what's known as pendente lite relief. This can be accomplished relatively quickly after initiating your divorce proceeding.
