Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My boyfriend asked me to marry him he, is currently paying his ex-wife (married in 1994 divorced in 2003) 'maintenance' fee until her passing away. My question is this If he passes away first, can she go after my pension/supplements/assests ( I am receiveing this now)?
