Child Custody
my wife is taking her x husband to court for full custody of their 2 kids because her x husband tried to committ suicide twice and was admitted into nut house for a day and now he's been diagnosed as being bi-polar.. He was served a week in advance 1) when they get to court will they still ask him if he wants legal representation? 2) based on the information above does he have a chance at fighting her for custody '' a leg to stand on '' ??
please help?
Re: Child Custody
He is entitled to retain counsel, as is your wife. Given his mental health, it would probably not be in the children's best interest for him to have custody.
