Child Support

In the state of New York, If there is no prior legal obligation for child support, and the mother wants to apply for support after 15 years, How many years can it go back.

We were never married. She has had him all his life with minimal visitation to me.

Unless she has been receiving public assistance, child support is retroactive only to the date of the application.
