Child Support

Is it true in NYS that a child in marriage take presidence over a child born out of wedlock for child support? If so, would i be able to get my child support payments lowered so i can care for my child in marriage?

Not true. All children treated equally and entitled to the same rights, including rights of child support and inheritance.

The answer to your question is "no" all children are entitled to support from their "parents".
