Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I just had court for basically my ex husband committing medical fraud. They first wanted me to repay medical and state that my husband applied for. I showed proof I had medical coverage on both him and my children..who were only with him for visitation. Anyway. The support judge magistrate who was there..was once my lawyer when she was a child advocacy lawyer. She represented me and my siblings during my mothers divorce. Is it a conflict of interest if she once represented me and is now judging my case?

You should bring up the fact that the judge represented you in court so that the issue may be addressed. The judge may choose to recuse herself from your case.
