Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I have had my daughter her entire life and her father only wants her when he isnt too busy and does not help support her. He has been in and out of jail her whole life and is out again I do not want her to see him what do I do?

That depends on if he is asking to see her. Either way a petition needs to be brought in court and your concerns need to be made clear to the court. This may not result in exactly what you want since he has paramount rights as her father but it may impose limits.
