Legal Question in Family Law in New York

what should i expect at my second court date?

I have a family court case comming up in two weeks, and need some help. My daughter just turned 1, and i got a letter in the mail for paternity. We went to court and the magistrate said if he's proved to be the father, next court date we'll discuss visitation and support. This guy has a bad background and i dont want him near her. hes in a gang, living in a halfway house, and only reason hes doing this is so that he can get some kind of welfare benefits and to make himself look good. i dont want my daughter ending up getting abused in any form, and i dont know how to tell the judge this in front of him becuase im scared of him. i dont know hwere i can find any legal advice or guidance so im scared becuase i dont want to mess up in court and say something wrong that i will regret later. im wondering if someone can help me so i can ease my mind and i can know what to expect the next court date and how i should go about with it. im only 19 and have no one else to help me or talk to, and i tried to call peole but i cant find any advice.
