Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Is there a way to go above the family court judge if you feel you aren't getting a fair trial? We are going up against a family who is very prominent in the town, the judge refused to look at any of our evidence, even though the other side clearly lied under oath and we had several items to prove it. We can't afford a lawyer and live in a different state so do not qualify for legal aid. What else can we do?
