Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I filed for divorce and the court ordered that my name as beneficiary as the wife on my husband's life insurance policies and IRA's remain until the divorce was final. He only has a few weeks to live and deleted by name as beneficiary on everything and transferred his property (vehicles) to his son. Can he change my designation as beneficiary on both items without the court's or my consent? I live in NYS

In New York State, for some time now when a divorce is started, there are automatic stays issued by the Court restricting both parties' sale or transfer of assets. If there are any significant assets being transfered by your husband on his death bed, you need to move fast to block or reverse this. You'll need an attorney to do it right, so I suggest you find one and retain one. Good luck.
