Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Forms

1) What are the forms needed for an unconstested divorced?

We have nothing together; no house, cars, children, debts, assets, etc.

What needs to be filed with the court?

do the courts check residency, question people or just go though forms and judge signs divrove papers?

2) If wife agrees & signs summons & complaint on grounds(that are half true & half false) just for the reason to get divorce are there consquenses from the court?

You are signing legal papers, and falsifying them could have consequences. Instead, why not call a lawyer? You may have perfectly legal grounds for a divorce without having to tell lies. Feel free to contact me. I charge just $199 plus the court filing fees (cases with no kids, no property, grounds of abandonment, sep agmt or imprisonment).

I suggest you retain an attorney. Most attorneys charge a flat fee. For an uncontested divorce, I also charge a flat fee.
