Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My girlfriend his primary custody of our 1.5yo son because I didn't contest it because she promised I can see him when ever I wanted. I used to see him 50% of the time, but now she won't let me see him at all. The earliest court date is in Sept to go in front of a judge for joint custody. In June, she was arrested for domestic violence against me, and was imprisoned for a few days. It's on her record now. She is unstable and suicidal. Can I file something in court to be able to see him now? I haven't seen him since June. I just want to know my rights as a father.

An attorney can file an emergency petition in court (an order to show cause) to try and get you visitation sooner than your court date in September.
