joint custody

my still wife and I have joint custody with set visitation schedule. without consultation she has placed them in daycare even though grandparents have been providing childcare for more than 6 months. Q: as joint custodian can i remove them from daycare and continue care as before?

Probably. However, you would still have to look toward the language in the settlement agreement and you would still have to give notice to the mother. Finally, your decision must be made in the best interest of the child. So, if grandparents are not physically or mentally able to watch the children you will run into a problem.
