Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Location of Child

Is there a way to find out when a child joined the military. I have been estranged from my 21 year old son and paying support for 10 years and we found out he has joined the armed forces but in order to go back to court we need to know the date he joined. I am no longer paying support but have been told he has been in for 2 years, and in that time I paid 10,000 in child support and want to recoup it.

Re: Location of Child

If you take your ex to court for a termination of support and to seek the overpayment, then your ex would have to provide the date of enlistment.
